Rudy Gestede scored on his debut as Aston Villa beat Bournemouth on the opening day of the Premier League season.
The newly promoted side started well on the top-flight bow, but had a lack of cutting edge in front of goal to blame for going into the break still level.
Tim Sherwood's half-time team talk looked to inspire the visitors in the second half, with a sense of urgency apparent, and Gestede headed home just 13 minutes into his competitive bow to seal all three points.
