Roberto Mancini believes new signing Stevan Jovetic will need time to find his feet at Inter following his summer move from Manchester City.
The former Fiorentina star recently returned to Serie A after two underwhelming but injury-interrupted seasons at the Etihad and it is now thought that he can resurrect his career back in Italy.
Jovetic hit the ground running at the weekend, netting once in his side's 2-0 friendly win over Athletic Bilbao, but Mancini is calling for calm, arguing that the Montenegrin forward will need time to settle at San Siro.
"Jovetic still needs a bit more time, although he played well," Mancini told the official Inter website.
"We know the sort of player he is and what he can do."
Aside from Jovetic, Inter have also brought in Geoffrey Kondogbia, Miranda and Martin Montoya this summer, yet Mancini admitted that there could be more new arrivals before August 31.
"We're working on it and we hope to end the transfer window as best we can," the former City boss added.
