After all the speculation surrounding a certain Juventus midfielder and a move to Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, there was finally a transfer involving a Pogba on Monday.
However, it is not 22-year-old France international Paul who has found a new club, rather his older brother Mathias.
The 24-year-old, who spent the second half of last season at Crawley Town, has signed a one-year deal with Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle.
The Guinea international was released from Crawley this summer and is now delighted to secure a move to the top-flight side.
"It’s great to finally sign for Partick Thistle and I am glad to be a player here," he said. "I have played the last six months with Crawley Town but since then I have been looking for a new club.
"It has been a long summer but I have been patient and I liked the offer from Partick Thistle so that is why I came here.”
While Mathias has secured his future, there remains uncertainty over that of his brother, who has attracted bids from Barca already this summer.
