Nuno Espirito Santo insists that, while every Valencia player is on the market, in-demand defender Nicolas Otamendi is thinking solely of helping the Spanish side reach the Champions League group stage.
Otamendi is being courted by Manchester United, with the Premier League club now likely to step up their interest in the Argentina international given that primary target Sergio Ramos is expected to extend his Real Madrid contract.
However, Valencia boss Santo insists that the centre-half has returned from his extended break after the Copa America thinking only of helping los Che win their upcoming Champions League qualifier.
"He's arrived in good shape," the coach told reporters ahead of Saturday's friendly against Porto. "He looked after himself during his holidays after the Copa America.
"He has been very faithful to his work and is already fully integrated with the team.
"Everyone is focused on the team. The idea is simple: prepare as well as possible for the Champions Leagues qualifier.
"Our goal last season was to reach the Champions League and everyone remains committed to that goal.
"We know that all players are on the market but we also know that everyone here will fight for the team until the death."
Valencia, who finished fourth in La Liga last season, have yet to learn the identity of their opponents in the play-off round of the 2015-16 Champions League.
