"It was a good training session," he told Sky Sports. "A good experience for the young boys to have a better feeling of first-team football. For the others, they needed minutes. They had minutes.
"The ones that didn't play on Sunday they had 55, 60 minutes. The ones that played on Sunday 30, 35. Which is what we had organised.
"I prefer to win 5-0 than lose 1-0. I prefer to score 10 goals instead of no goals, that's obvious. But the real one starts on Saturday."
